Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).
Cut each slider bun in half and place the bottom halves cut side up into a 9x9 or 9x12 baking pan.
In a small bowl, mix together 2 teaspoons of mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of Dijon mustard until well combined.
Spread the mayonnaise and mustard mixture over the cut side of the bottom halves of the buns.
Layer about 12 slices of black forest deli ham on top of the buns, overlapping each slice.
Place 6 slices of Swiss cheese on top of the ham, followed by 6 slices of pepper jack cheese, ensuring even coverage over each bun.
Top each slider with the remaining halves of the buns.
In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup of melted salted butter, 1/2 tablespoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tablespoons of poppy seeds until well combined.
Pour the butter mixture over the sliders, using a pastry brush to evenly spread it over each bun and allowing it to reach the bottom of the pan.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 to 6 minutes to ensure the cheese melts.
Remove from the oven and slice through each slider with a sharp knife.
Let the sliders rest at room temperature until cool enough to touch before pulling them apart and serving.
