2 cups P.A.N. white cornmeal
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil or canola oil

Put 2 cups of P.A.N. white cornmeal into a large bowl.

Pour in 1 1/2 cups of water.

Flatten each ball into a large pancake shape.

Place a large cast iron or sauté pan over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of vegetable or canola oil.

Once the oil is hot, add three pupusas to the pan and cook for about 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden.
