Welcome back to Craig's custom cooking. I'm going to make maple glazed chicken wings for supper.

I have a pound of chicken flats (wings) here, 17 in total.

Get a frying pan and add 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil.

Put the chicken wings in the frying pan. You may need to do a couple of batches as they may not all fit at once.

Brown the chicken wings on both sides, flipping them after about 2 minutes on the first side.

Once browned, remove the wings from the pan and set them aside.

In the same pan, make the sauce by combining 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of shaoxing cooking wine, 4 tablespoons of maple syrup, and 4 minced cloves of garlic.

Mix everything well and set it aside while the chicken wings cool.

Put the browned chicken wings back in the pan, face up, and pour the sauce over them.

Cook the wings over medium-low heat for about 15 minutes, flipping them occasionally to coat with the sauce.

After 10 minutes, the sauce will start to thicken. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes until it becomes a glaze.

Once the sauce is thickened and coats the wings, plate them up and serve.
