Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit (148 Celsius).
Spread dry roasted peanuts on a pan and roast in the oven for about 15 minutes if using raw peanuts.
Let the roasted peanuts cool before blending.
Add 1.5 cups of dry roasted peanuts to the Vitamix blender.
Add a couple squirts of honey to the blender.
Optionally, add 1 teaspoon of oil for creaminess.
Put the lid on the blender and remove the small lid to use the tamper.
Turn the blender on to high and blend for about 45 seconds to 1 minute, using the tamper to push down the peanuts as needed.
Check the consistency and add more honey or oil if desired.
Use a spatula or spoon to scrape down the sides and blend again if necessary.
Once blended to your liking, remove the peanut butter from the blender.
