Traditional Homemade Kimchi

1 cup Korean radish
1 medium onion
1/2 cup spring onion
1/4 cup chives
4 cloves garlic
1 tablespoon ginger
3 tablespoons Korean red chili powder
1 tablespoon sugar
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon fermented shrimp paste
