Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2Roll out the shortcrust pastry and cut into circles.
- 3Press the pastry circles into a muffin tin to form tartlet shells.
- 4Bake the pastry for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- 5Remove the tartlet shells from the oven and let cool.
- 6In a bowl, mix cream cheese with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- 7Finely chop the red onion, dill, and parsley, then add to the cream cheese mixture.
- 8Layer herring fillets at the bottom of each tartlet shell.
- 9Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the herring.
- 10Top with mussels and garnish with capers and fresh dill.
- 11Drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of garlic.
- 12Serve chilled or at room temperature.
