Apple cider vinegar offers a tangy flavor with fewer calories.

Canola oil is less expensive while still providing a neutral flavor.
Remove the gills from the portobello mushrooms and wash them under cool water.
Place the mushrooms in a sauté pan.
Add onion leek, garlic, salt, black pepper, and crushed garlic to the pan.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of Caesar dressing or dressing of your choice.
Add 1 teaspoon of mustard (optional).
Start with 1 cup of water and add more when flipping the mushrooms as they will release water during cooking.
Place the pan on the stove and add 3 tablespoons of olive oil.
Cook everything over medium-high heat for 10 to 15 minutes.
Flip the mushrooms and add ½ cup of water.
Reduce the heat to a simmer and let it cook until the water completely evaporates.
Check on the mushrooms; when ready, turn off the heat and add parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Give it a good stir and serve.
