In a large bowl, combine warm water and melted dairy-free butter.
Add sugar and sprinkle in the fast action yeast. Let it sit for a moment.
Using a headwhisk with kneading hooks, gradually add about a quarter of the bread flour at a time until a dough forms.
Add salt to the mixture and continue mixing until the dough is elastic and not too sticky.
Spray the bowl with non-stick spray and place the dough inside. Cover with a damp cloth or cling film.
Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 90 minutes until it doubles in size.
After rising, tear off pieces of dough and roll them into long sticks.
Let the rolled breadsticks rest covered with a damp tea towel for another hour.
If desired, you can freeze the breadsticks or slow prove them in the fridge for more flavor.
Preheat the oven and bake the breadsticks for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
