Wash the peppers and tomatoes.
Place them in a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
Spray with vegetable oil.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, flipping after 15 to 20 minutes.
Place the baked peppers in a ziplock for 5 to 10 minutes to steam.
Peel off the skins of the tomatoes and peppers.
Remove the seeds from the peppers or rinse them under running water.
Use a wooden mortar and pestle to mash the peppers and tomatoes, or use a food processor, fork, or knife to cut them into small pieces.
Add salt and mix well.
Add olive oil generously and mix again.
Serve with any type of bread.
