325g/2 cups+5 tbsp flour
3-4 figs
200ml/3/4 cup lukewarm water
50ml/1/4 cup olive oil
60ml/4 tbsp olive oil for the pan
15g/1 tbsp fresh yeast
15g/1 tbsp honey
10g/2 tsp salt

Combine warm water and yeast in a bowl and let sit until frothy, about 5-10 minutes.

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and honey.

Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour mixture and mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.

Preheat the oven to 425ยฐF (220ยฐC).

Once risen, punch down the dough and transfer it to a greased baking sheet, stretching it to fit.

Dimple the surface of the dough with your fingers and drizzle with olive oil.

Arrange halved fresh figs on top of the dough, pressing them slightly into the surface.
