Wash the potatoes thoroughly and look for any dark spots.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes by cutting across the center and then turning them sideways to cut again.
Place the cubed potatoes in a bowl of water to remove starch and prevent browning.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Drain the water from the potatoes after about 15 minutes and transfer them to a separate bowl.
Add 3 tablespoons of olive oil and 3 tablespoons of melted butter over the potatoes.
Mix the potatoes to ensure they are well coated with the oil and butter.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, and 3/4 teaspoon of paprika to the potatoes.
Mix the potatoes again to distribute the seasonings evenly.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper and spread the potatoes out evenly, ensuring they are not piled on top of each other.
Bake the potatoes in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, turning them halfway through at the 20-minute mark to ensure even browning.
After 20 minutes, flip the potatoes using a spatula to brown the other side.
Continue baking for another 20 minutes until the potatoes are golden brown and cooked through.
