Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Soften the cream cheese in the microwave until easy to work with.

Mix the softened cream cheese with one package of taco seasoning until well combined.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the bottom of a baking dish.

Layer the refried beans on top of the cream cheese mixture.

Add a layer of chili on top of the refried beans.

Sprinkle more taco seasoning on top of the chili layer.

Lay down slices of cheddar cheese over the chili.

Sprinkle any remaining shredded cheddar cheese on top of the slices.

Add pickled jalapenos on top of the cheese layer.

Garnish with chopped green onion and cilantro.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly around the edges.

Check the center to ensure it's warm or hot before serving.
