Recipe Information
Koe'Sister
In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, and ground cinnamon together.
In a separate bowl, combine the coconut milk and water.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until a smooth batter forms.
Fold in the grated coconut, raisins, and nuts if using.
Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, drop spoonfuls of the batter into the oil, being careful not to overcrowd the pan.
Fry until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Remove the fried Koe'Sisters and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
