1 bay leaf
3 or 4 sage leaves
1 large garlic clove
2 onions
2 tablespoons (30 mL) extra-virgin olive oil
3 cups (700 mL) chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
2 16-oz (450 g) cans of white beans (cannellini or navy)
