In a large mixing bowl, add 2 cups of all-purpose flour.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of baking powder to the flour.
Mix the dry ingredients together until well combined.
Add 3/4 cup of plain yogurt to the dry ingredients.
Using a spatula, mix until a dough forms.
Use your hands to combine the dough until it comes together.
Flour your hands and a small surface to prevent sticking.
Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces.
Roll each piece into a stick about 8 inches long and place on a baking tray.
Prepare an egg wash by mixing 1 egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of milk.
Brush the tops of the breadsticks generously with the egg wash.
Bake the breadsticks in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and brush with garlic butter while still hot.
