1 lb daikon radish
1 medium onion
2 tablespoons cooking oil
1 lb minced meat
4 cups dashi soup stock
3 tablespoons miso
4 oz curry roux
2 cups rice

Finely chop the onion.

Dice the daikon radish.

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat cooking oil.

Saute the onion and daikon for 5 minutes.

Add minced meat and cook until no longer pink.

Meanwhile, make dashi soup stock if using it instead of water.

Add dashi soup stock to the pan and remove the foam if necessary.

Cook until the daikon radish is soft.

Stop the heat and mix in miso and curry roux.

Leave for a minute and mix well.

Put on the heat and cook on low until thick.
