Miso Maple Caramel Sauce

In a medium saucepan, combine the maple syrup and miso paste over medium heat.
Whisk the mixture until the miso is fully dissolved into the syrup.
Add the coconut cream and butter to the saucepan, stirring continuously until the butter is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat to low.
Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt.
Allow the sauce to cool slightly before using.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
