Honey adds sweetness with a different flavor profile.
Start by heating a pot on the stove.
Add 2 cups of sugar to the pot.
Turn the stove down to very low to melt the sugar slowly.
Wait for the sugar to become very dark and start bubbling.
Once the sugar is dark and bubbling, turn off the stove.
Carefully add vegetable broth to the pot, being cautious of the hot sugar.
Turn the stove back on to medium heat.
Add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar to the mixture.
Add 2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar to the mixture.
Add 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar to the mixture.
Add 1 teaspoon of ginger powder to the mixture.
Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the mixture.
Add 1 teaspoon of onion powder to the mixture.
Taste the mixture to check for saltiness, as the broth may contain salt.
If desired, add a little salt to taste.
