Cook elbow macaroni according to package instructions, then drain and rinse.
In a bowl, mix together the cooked elbow macaroni, cheese, soft bread crumbs, diced onions, diced green pepper, pimento, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
Dice the ham into small pieces and mix it into the noodle mixture.
Beat two eggs in a separate bowl and gradually add them to the scalded milk, mixing slowly to avoid cooking the eggs.
Combine the egg and milk mixture with the noodle mixture and mix well.
Grease a bundt pan with cooking spray and pour the noodle mixture into it.
Cover the bundt pan with foil and place it in the fridge for about an hour and a half before baking.
Prepare the buttered breadcrumbs by mixing half a cup of dry breadcrumbs with two tablespoons of melted salted butter.
Take the bundt pan out of the fridge, sprinkle the buttered breadcrumbs on top, and recover with foil.
Bake the casserole in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 40 minutes, until set.
Remove the casserole from the oven and attempt to unmold it onto a plate, noting that it may stick to the pan.
Microwave about a cup of frozen peas and carrots with two tablespoons of butter until heated through.
Place the cooked peas and carrots in the center of the unmolded casserole.
