Blueberry French Toast Casserole

8 slices of toast or sandwich bread
2 cups of blueberries or berries of your choice
1 8oz package of cream cheese
2/3 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup of milk
butter (for greasing)

Grease your baking dish with butter.

Cut the bread slices into cubes.

Put about half of the bread cubes into the pan.

Sprinkle over 1 cup of blueberries.

Fill the pan up with the rest of the bread cubes.

Sprinkle the 2nd cup of blueberries over the top.

In a bowl, drop the room temperature cream cheese and mix until very creamy.

Pour in the sugar and keep mixing.

Drop in the eggs one at a time to combine better.

Measure 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and add it to the mixture.

Pour in 1 cup of milk slowly to avoid splashing.

Scrape the sides of the bowl to ensure everything is well combined.

Fill the mixture in a measuring cup for easier pouring.

Pour the cream cheese mixture over the bread and berries in the pan.
