1 1/2 teaspoons kosher or sea salt, divided
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large onion, diced
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1 cup beef broth
1 sprig fresh rosemary
3 sprigs fresh thyme
1 (15-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Close the lid and set the Instant Pot to cook on high pressure for 60 minutes.

Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally for 10-15 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
