Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Pour the cheese sauce over the broccoli and rice mixture in the baking dish.
Add half of the shredded cheese into the mixture and mix well, reserving the other half for topping.
Cover the baking dish with foil to prevent drying out during baking.
Bake in the preheated oven, covered, for an unspecified time.
Remove the foil during the last 10 minutes of baking to allow the top to become crispy and golden.
