Add 0.5 tsp of hydrogen peroxide (3% solution) to the wine and whisk it together.

Let the mixture sit for a couple of minutes to neutralize the sulfites.

Calculate the amount of water needed to dilute the wine to 7% alcohol by volume.

Fill the wine bottle with tap water and pour 1000 ml into the jar to dilute the wine.

Measure out 375 ml of vinegar mother (Bragg's) and add it to the jar.

Cover the jar with a breathable cloth secured with a rubber band to keep out bugs.

Store the jar in a warm place with airflow, away from direct sunlight, for about four weeks.
