250 g elbow macaroni
2 pcs sliced jumbo hot dogs
2 pcs finely chopped onions
6 cloves chopped garlic
finely chopped red bell pepper
500 g ground pork
3 tbsp tomato paste
500 g tomato sauce
1 cup water
1 tsp salt
ground black pepper
80 g grated cheese
1/4 cup light brown sugar
50 g butter
250 ml all purpose cream
half of 370 ml evaporated milk
1/2 tsp salt
80 g grated cheese
200 g grated mozzarella cheese

Boil 6 cups of water and add 2 tbsp salt.

Add 250 g elbow macaroni pasta and cook until al dente.

Pan fry 2 pcs sliced jumbo hot dogs on medium flame until toasted and set aside.

Saute 2 pcs finely chopped onions on high flame for about 20 seconds.

Add 6 cloves chopped garlic and continue to saute for another 10 seconds.

Add finely chopped red bell pepper and saute for another 10 seconds.

Add 500 g ground pork and continue to saute until the fat renders.

Add 3 tbsp tomato paste and continue to saute on high flame.

Add 500 g tomato sauce and mix.

Add 1 cup water and set the flame on low, mixing well.

Add 1 tsp salt and ground black pepper.

Add 80 g grated cheese and 1/4 cup light brown sugar, then mix in the pan fried hot dogs.

Mix until the sugar and cheese dissolve and the sauce reduces a bit, then turn off the flame.

Strain the cooked macaroni and let it cool down.

Add the macaroni into the red sauce and mix thoroughly, then set aside.

In a separate pan, melt 50 g butter on low flame.

Add 250 ml all purpose cream and mix for about 30 seconds.

Add half of 370 ml evaporated milk and cook for another 1 minute.

Add 1/2 tsp salt, ground black pepper, 80 g grated cheese, and 200 g grated mozzarella cheese, mixing until melted and sauce thickens.

Turn off the flame and set aside.

In a baking dish, add the macaroni mixed with red sauce and even it out.

Add the cheese sauce on top and even it out, then top with grated mozzarella cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 15 minutes and broil for about 5 minutes.

Rest for about 5 minutes, then slice into portions and serve hot.
