Vegetable oil is more budget-friendly for greasing.
Add 1 cup of flour to a big bowl.
Add yeast, sugar, and salt to the bowl.
Optionally add a little bit of garlic powder for extra flavor.
Stir everything really well.
Add olive oil and water (between 105 and 115 degrees Fahrenheit) to the mixture.
Stir until everything is mixed well.
Add leftover flour gradually, only a little bit at a time, until the dough is elastic and pulls away from the sides of the bowl.
Get a large bowl and brush olive oil all over it.
Put the dough ball inside the oiled bowl and roll it around to coat it in oil.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in a warm place for 30 minutes.
When the dough has doubled in size, gently pop the dough ball and knead it a few times on a floured surface.
Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle using a rolling pin.
Place the rolled dough on a flat pan lined with parchment paper.
Drizzle olive oil and brush it evenly over the dough.
Use a fork to poke holes all over the dough to prevent big bubbles when baking.
Add tomato sauce on top of the dough, using as much as you want.
Add shredded mozzarella or a mixed shredded cheese on top.
Bake the pizza for 13 to 15 minutes until the cheese melts and looks slightly golden brown.
