Grill or dry fry 8 pieces of streaky bacon until crispy.
Grate 100 g of mature cheddar cheese and set aside.
In a mixing bowl, combine 250 g of self-raising flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of mustard powder, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
Chop the cooked bacon into small pieces and add to the mixing bowl.
In another bowl, mix 150 ml of milk with 1 tablespoon of tomato ketchup and 1 teaspoon of Worcestershire sauce.
Cut 40 g of butter into small chunks and mix into the dry ingredients until crumbly.
Add about 3/4 of the cheese and bacon to the mixture.
Pour in most of the milk mixture and combine to form a dough.
Roll out the dough to about 8-10 inches thick.
Place the rolled dough onto a baking sheet and brush with excess milk.
Scatter the remaining bacon and cheese on top.
Cut the dough into 6 slices and space them apart on the baking sheet.
Bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
Transfer to a rack to cool before serving.
