Cut the Filipino Howen roll lengthwise to create a sandwich layer.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking sheet with cooking spray.
Spread about 3 to 4 tablespoons of the special sauce on the greased baking sheet.
Place the bottom part of the bun in the baking sheet and press gently.
Layer provolone cheese evenly over the bottom bun.
Add a layer of smok Black Forest ham on top of the cheese.
Cover the ham with another layer of provolone cheese.
Place the top part of the bun over the layered ingredients.
Pour the remaining special sauce over the top of the buns, ensuring each piece is coated.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 20 minutes, checking at 15 minutes.
After 20 minutes, check the sandwiches; the cheese should be melted and the bottom part slightly soggy.
