Traditionally enjoyed for breakfast, it represents communal dining and hospitality, often served with bread and various toppings. Today, Ful has gained popularity globally, with variations emerging in different cultures, showcasing its adaptability and rich flavor.

Soak fava beans in water overnight and then drain them and freeze them.
Boil water in a pressure cooker and add soaked fava beans, flour, tomato paste, orange lentils, yellow lentils, and butter.
Cook the fava beans in the pressure cooker for 45 minutes to 1 hour, then release the pressure naturally.
Mash the fava beans slightly with a ladle and add lime juice.
In a pan, heat olive oil and add diced onion and green peppers, seasoning with salt.
Once onions are translucent, add diced tomato and mix.
Add dried coriander, cumin, and paprika, and cover to let tomatoes break down for about 5 minutes.
Add the cooked fava beans to the mixture and let it cook for about 4 minutes.
Add fresh coriander, garlic, chilies, more salt, and pepper to taste after turning off the heat.
Finish with another half lime juice and ground cumin, and drizzle with sesame seed oil.
