In a measuring cup, combine 1/3 cup of bourbon, 1/2 cup of apple juice, 1/2 cup of chicken broth, 1/3 cup of brown sugar, 1/4 cup of ketchup, 1 tbsp of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 tsp of onion powder, 1/2 tsp of ground ginger, 1 tsp of chili flakes, 1 tsp of sesame seeds, and 1/3 cup of low sodium soy sauce; mix well.

Heat a cast iron skillet on medium heat and add olive oil.

Add the chicken to the skillet one by one and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until golden brown with dark brown spots.
