Put 2 pounds of ground beef into a bowl.
Add 1/2 cup of minced onion to the bowl.
Add 1 cup of breadcrumbs to the bowl.
Add 1/2 cup of milk to the bowl.
Add 2 teaspoons of Worcestershire sauce to the bowl.
Add 2 teaspoons of salt to the bowl.
Add 1/2 teaspoon of pepper to the bowl.
Add 2 large eggs to the bowl.
Mix all ingredients together with clean hands, being careful not to overmix.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
Grease two pans with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Roll the meat mixture into meatballs about the size of a fist or slightly smaller and place them in the pans, ensuring they are not touching.
Place the meatballs in the oven and set a timer for 40 minutes.
For the sauce, turn the stove on high and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a pot.
Add 1 large onion (about 1.5 cups) to the pot.
Add 4 cloves of garlic to the pot, smash them, and chop them before adding to the pot.
Add 1 tablespoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon of chili flakes, 1 bay leaf, and 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning to the pot.
Cook the onion and garlic mixture for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
After 3 minutes, stir again and cook for another 3 minutes until translucent.
Add 4 cups of tomato sauce to the pot and stir.
Add 1 can of water to the sauce and keep the stove on high to boil off some water.
Cover the pot with a lid to heat it up faster and cook for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, remove the lid and turn the stove down to medium heat.
Fill a separate pot with cold water and bring it to a boil for the pasta.
Break the spaghetti in half and add it to the boiling water, cooking for 8 minutes.
After 8 minutes, check the meatballs to ensure they are cooked through.
Drain the pasta and season it with salt.
Serve the spaghetti topped with sauce and meatballs, and add Parmesan cheese.
