1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
2 tablespoons butter
4 cups rice, cooked

Pick out bad red beans and wash them thoroughly with water.

Soak the beans in water for at least two hours.
