Add 3 cups of chicken broth to a large sauce pot and bring to a boil.

Once boiling, add 1 cup of quick cooking grits and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to thicken.

Turn off the heat and add 1/2 teaspoon each of minced onion, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper.

Add 1/2 stick (4 ounces) of butter, 4 ounces of cream cheese, and 1/4 cup of sour cream to the grits mixture.

Crumble 4 pieces of cooked bacon and add to the mixture.

Add 1 cup of cheddar cheese slices to the grits and stir until melted and smooth.

Taste the mixture and add a pinch of salt if needed.

In a separate bowl, temper 2 eggs by adding some of the grits mixture to them, then pour the egg mixture back into the grits.

Spray a skillet with non-stick spray and pour the grits mixture into it.
