1

Welcome to my kitchen. I'm Gloria Castro and today I'm making a delicious budín.

2

I'm using 30 pieces of bread to make two budines.

3

I put in 1 pound of sugar for the two budines.

4

Mix the sugar until it dissolves completely, ensuring there are no lumps.

5

Once the sugar is melted, pour some into the mold, distributing it evenly.

6

Be careful not to burn yourself; the caramel is very hot.

7

After making the caramel and letting it harden, I will break up the bread.

8

I have 1 liter of water and 1/2 stick of butter ready.

9

I also have 1 cup of milk and 3 eggs, which I will add directly because they are fresh from my chickens.

10

Next, I will add 1 cup of flan to the mixture.

11

Add 1/2 cup of sugar, but not too much since the flan is already sweet.

12

If the mixture seems a bit dry, I will add a little more water, approximately 1 liter and 1 cup of water.

13

After mixing well, I will add cinnamon to taste, either whole or ground as preferred.

14

I will slice the whole cinnamon for decoration only.

15

Pour the mixture into the two molds and bake at 180ºC.

16

Bake for 40 minutes in the oven.
