Avocado and Bacon Mac and Cheese

8 oz elbow macaroni
4 slices bacon
2 ripe avocados
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup cream cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and crumble into pieces.

In the same skillet, add the cooked macaroni, crumbled bacon, and shredded cheddar cheese.

In a separate bowl, mash the avocados and mix in the milk, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Pour the avocado mixture over the macaroni and cheese, stirring until well combined.

If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top for added texture.

Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until heated through and the top is slightly golden.
