Add 2 cups of all-purpose flour to a bowl.

Add ¼ tsp. of salt and 3 tbsp. of sugar to the flour and mix well.

Add 155ml of warm milk to the yeast mixture and let it stand for about 20 minutes.

Add 2 tbsp. of unsalted butter to the mixture and knead it well.

Let the dough ferment until it doubles in size.

Divide the dough into 5 equal parts and let them stand for about 20 minutes.

Shape each piece into long strips and braid them together.

Place the braided dough on a baking pan and cover it, letting it rest until it doubles in size again.

Apply an egg wash made of 1 yolk and 1 tsp. of water on top of the dough.

Layer sesame seeds on top of the dough.

Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25-30 minutes.
