Chopped Greek Salad

1 small head of romaine lettuce
olive oil
red wine vinegar
dried oregano
dried basil
fresh lemon juice
1 whole cucumber
2 small red peppers
small handful of cherry tomatoes
1/4 red onion
whole black olives
crumbled feta cheese
salt
pepper

Cut the bottom off the romaine lettuce and slice it into small squares.

Wash and spin dry the lettuce in a salad spinner, then set aside in a large mixing bowl.

In a bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried oregano, dried basil, and fresh lemon juice. Whisk together and season with salt and pepper.

Add the dressing to the side while processing the other ingredients.

Remove both ends of the cucumber, slice it in half, and then slice it into half moons. Add to the mixing bowl with the lettuce.

Split the red peppers in half, remove seeds, and dice them. Add to the bowl with the cucumber and lettuce.

Slice the cherry tomatoes in half and add to the bowl.

Slice the quarter of a red onion as thin as possible and add to the bowl.

Add whole black olives and crumbled feta cheese to the bowl.

Pour the dressing over the salad and toss together or serve as is.
