Leave bread out for 1-2 hours to dry out.
Tear bread into pieces and pulse in food processor until chunky breadcrumbs form.
Chop green bell pepper, onion, and celery in food processor.
Melt 1 stick of butter in a pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onion, celery, and bell pepper to the pan and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add 1 and 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 and 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce; mix and cook for 2 more minutes.
Turn off the stove and add half of the breadcrumbs to the pan; stir to combine.
Add the remaining breadcrumbs and mix well.
Transfer mixture to a greased baking pan and bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 25 minutes.
