Julienne the black forest ham by stacking two pieces and cutting them into strips, then cutting those strips in half.
Julienne the swiss cheese in the same manner as the ham, ensuring it's thickly sliced from the deli.
Rough chop the fresh lettuce, being careful not to use a knife if you want to avoid browning in the refrigerator.
Place the chopped lettuce into a salad bowl.
Cut the fresh tomatoes from the garden into pieces and add them to the salad bowl.
Add the green olives to the salad bowl.
Grate fresh parmesan cheese and sprinkle it over the salad.
