Kapana, originating from Namibia, is a popular street food known for its vibrant flavors and communal eating style. Traditionally enjoyed at markets and gatherings, this dish highlights the rich culinary heritage of the region. Today, Kapana has gained popularity beyond Namibia, often found in various African festivals and food events.

Cut the beef into small cubes and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, cumin, and coriander.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Add the seasoned beef to the skillet and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.
Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add chopped onions and minced garlic, sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
Add chopped fresh chili peppers and diced tomatoes to the skillet, cooking for another 3-4 minutes until softened.
Return the beef to the skillet and mix well with the vegetables.
Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
Chop fresh cilantro and stir it into the mixture just before serving.
Serve hot with lime wedges and bread on the side.
