200g prahok (fermented fish paste)
1 cup coconut milk
2 tbsp minced pork
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp minced shallots
1 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup chopped fresh herbs (such as cilantro or mint)

In a mixing bowl, combine the prahok and minced pork, mixing well until combined.

In a saucepan, heat the coconut milk over medium heat until it begins to simmer.

Add the minced garlic and shallots to the coconut milk, stirring to combine.

Stir in the prahok and pork mixture, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until the pork is cooked through.

Add sugar, salt, and black pepper to the mixture, stirring well to incorporate all flavors.

Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together.
