Wash and peel the potatoes.
Cut off both ends of the potatoes so they fit in the spiralizer.
Spiralize the potatoes using the spiralizer.
Place the spiralized potatoes in water to prevent browning.
Rinse the spiralized potatoes and put them in the fridge for 30 minutes.
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose flour and cornstarch and whisk together.
Add garlic powder, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and paprika to the flour mixture and whisk again.
While whisking, pour in water until the batter is smooth.
Heat vegetable oil in a medium heavy-bottom pot to 375°F (190°C).
Remove the curly potatoes from the fridge, pour out the water, and break them into smaller pieces.
Dip the potatoes into the batter, ensuring they are coated.
Fry the coated potatoes in batches in the hot oil, avoiding overcrowding the pot.
Fry until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-5 minutes per batch.
Sprinkle with salt after cooking, but taste first to avoid over-salting.
