Place 1 pound top round steak in a food safe plastic bag.

Pour the lime mixture over the steak and turn to coat.

Seal the bag securely and marinate in the refrigerator for 6 hours or overnight, turning occasionally.

Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the marinade in the bag.

Place the steak on a grill over medium ash-covered coals.

Grill covered for 10 to 11 minutes until the internal temperature reads 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium rare, turning occasionally.

Carve the steak into slices, making sure to cut against the grain.
