Bibimbap, a traditional Korean dish, translates to 'mixed rice' and is known for its vibrant presentation and variety of ingredients. Each component, from the marinated meat to the fresh vegetables, is carefully arranged before being mixed together with gochujang for a burst of flavor. This dish is often enjoyed as a wholesome meal and can be easily customized with seasonal vegetables or proteins. Today, bibimbap has gained popularity worldwide, with many variations emerging, including vegetarian and vegan options.

Marinate chicken breast in soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic for at least 30 minutes.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the marinated chicken until fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes.
Remove chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing into strips.
In the same skillet, sauté spinach until wilted, about 2-3 minutes, and set aside.
Sauté carrots and zucchini in the skillet for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp, then set aside.
Blanch bean sprouts in boiling water for 1-2 minutes, then drain and set aside.
Fry an egg in the skillet sunny-side up until the white is set but the yolk is runny, about 2-3 minutes.
To assemble, place a serving of rice in a bowl and arrange the chicken, sautéed vegetables, and bean sprouts on top.
Add the fried egg on top and drizzle with gochujang and sesame oil to taste.
Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds, and serve with nori on the side.
