Salsa Verde 3 Ways - Salsa Verde Mexicana Recipe de Tomatillo con Aguacate y Cremosa

- ●6 tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- ●1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- ●1/4 cup chopped onion
- ●1-2 jalapeño peppers, stemmed and chopped
- ●2 cloves garlic, minced
- ●1/2 tsp salt
- ●1 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- 1Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- 2Place the tomatillos on a baking sheet and roast in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, until they are soft and slightly charred.
- 3Remove the tomatillos from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- 4In a blender or food processor, combine the roasted tomatillos, cilantro, onion, jalapeños, garlic, salt, and lime juice.
- 5Blend until smooth, adjusting the seasoning to taste.
- 6If you prefer a chunkier salsa, pulse the ingredients a few times instead of blending completely.
- 7Transfer the salsa to a bowl and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- 8Serve with tortilla chips, tacos, or your favorite Mexican dishes.

- 2Add the fresh cilantro leaves, chopped green onions, lime juice, jalapeño, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder to the blender.
- 3Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed.
- 4Taste the salsa and adjust seasoning if necessary, adding more salt or lime juice to your preference.
- 5Transfer the salsa verde con aguacate to a serving bowl.
- 6Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
