Add 1.5 cups of white wheat berries to the blender.
Cover the wheat berries with water, ensuring they are soaked and slightly covered by about half an inch.
Blend the wheat berries until a vortex forms, adding an additional 1/8 to 1/4 cup of water if necessary to achieve the right consistency.
Once blended, the mixture should resemble a thick pancake batter or porridge.
Add 2 teaspoons of fine ground sea salt to the batter.
Add 1 tablespoon of molasses to the batter, using a greased spoon to help it slide out easily.
If making a sourdough version, add 1/2 cup of sourdough starter to the batter; if not, prepare yeast according to package instructions and add it instead.
Mix the batter to incorporate the salt and molasses, then add 4 cups of sprouted whole white wheat flour gradually, mixing until a wet, shaggy dough forms.
Transfer the dough into a greased bread loaf pan, using floured hands to help with the sticky dough.
