Peel 1 big size white/red onion and wash it.

Cut/Slice the onion into rings.

Separate the rings into ringlets. I only use the bigger rings.

In a bowl, combine 1/2 cup of all purpose flour, 1/2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp salt.

Coat each onion ring with the prepared flour.

Beat 1 egg.

Add 1/2 cup fresh milk.

Add the remaining flour and mix well to make a batter.

Dip each onion ring into the batter and coat with breadcrumbs.

Deep fry the onion rings until golden brown.
