some curry leaves
2 pinches turmeric powder
salt to taste
3 tablespoons grated coconut
half citron fruit
chopped coriander leaves

Cut a citron fruit in half and keep aside.

Heat a pan and add 1/4 teaspoon of cumin seeds and 5 to 6 black pepper, frying them.

Switch off the flame and transfer the fried cumin seeds and black pepper to a mortar.

Crush them with the help of a pestle to make a fine powder and keep aside.

Heat a pan again and add 2 tablespoons of refined oil.

Add 1/4 teaspoon of mustard seeds and 1/2 teaspoon of split Bengal gram and 1/2 teaspoon of split black round, frying them.

Add 2 chopped green chili and 1/2 tablespoon of ground nog, frying again.

Add some curry leaves and 2 pinches of turmeric powder, stirring well.

Add the crushed cumin and black pepper powder and salt to taste, stirring again.

Add 3 tablespoons of grated coconut and squeeze in the juice of half a citron fruit, stirring well.

Finally, garnish with some chopped coriander leaves.

Close the lid and allow it to cook for two minutes.

Open the lid and stir well again, then switch off the flame.
