Continue stirring for about 1 hour and 18 minutes until the mixture thickens and turns slightly brown.

Add 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract and stir to combine.

Add 1/2 bar of butter to the mixture and wait for it to melt.

Pour the mixture into a greased mold and spread it evenly.

Let it cool until set, then place it on wax paper for cutting.
