Combine 200 g of regular flour and 200 g of whole wheat flour in a bowl.

Pour in 300 mL of milk and crumble in 30 g of yeast; mix until slightly pasty.
Knead the dough on a flat surface until well combined.
Place the dough back in the bowl, cover with cling film, and let rise for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, divide the dough into halves, then quarters, and each quarter into halves.
Roll each piece into a bun and set aside to prove for another 30 minutes.
Egg wash the risen rolls and sprinkle with poppy seeds or black sesame seeds.
Make a quick incision on each roll with a sharp knife.
Bake in the oven at 230°C for 15 to 20 minutes.
