Layer a 14.5 oz package of tortilla chips in a 9 by 13 inch casserole dish.

In a large bowl, combine a 10 oz can of diced tomatoes with green chili peppers, a 10.75 oz can of condensed cream of chicken soup, a 10.75 oz can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, and 1 chopped onion.

Ladle half of this mixture over the tortilla chips in the casserole dish.

Add 3 lb of boiled and deboned chicken torn into pieces on top of the mixture.

Top with 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.

Ladle in the remaining soup mixture over the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
